Now that i finally run my own node my thoughts quickly went to also start home mining ⛏️ I want to get the full experience like it was in the early days, when mining was packaged together with bitcoin core software. What would be a good device to start home mining? Energy prices are very high here, so i don’t plan to earn steady rewards as this would just result in losses. I would go for lottery mining with a good feeling of at least decentralizing the network 💪 Heard a lot good stuff about Bitaxe! Any bitaxe owners here? Can you recommend? Setup already in progress 💪 The ssd already arrived and found its new home in the mini pc. I chose to start with StartOS. Installation was s breeze an the documentation on the Start9 website is one of the best i ever saw 👌 Now need to sync the #bitcoin blockchain. Excited how long it will take.
