This is my entry for the Medicine for Hope Campaign. My father was diagnosed with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) years ago, long before he worked overseas as an OFW. During that time, he had to return to the Philippines for surgery after developing bladder stones due to urinary obstruction, which was caused by his enlarged prostate. Unfortunately, the condition has recurred over the years, and he now relies on several medications to help manage his symptoms and maintain his health. As he has grown older and is now a senior citizen, taking his maintenance medications has become an important part of his daily routine. Aside from his medications for BPH, he also takes medicine for high cholesterol, along with vitamins to support his overall health and well-being. Despite his condition, my father continues to do his best to live an active and healthy lifestyle. One of the things he enjoys most is riding his bicycle, and he also makes time for running whenever he can. These activities not only help him stay physically fit but also keep him motivated and improve his overall quality of life. Seeing him remain active despite his health challenges is truly inspiring, and we hope he continues to enjoy good health and many more years doing what he loves. Always wishing for our parents good health today and always. May each day bring them more strength and comfort. This is my entry for the #petchallenge by @Jafar Majeed and thank you @Prime Architect Meet our first baby Toffee. He was a stray dog from my partner workplace. And during the COViD years, he was left along with his siblings in an eatery. His other siblings were already adapted and he is the only one left. My partner decided to bring him home and put in a juice box. He was so small and thin back then. He also have skin issues. One of things he love to do is to sleep with this favorite stuffed toy while it is in his mouth. He just instantly became the baby of the family and get all the attention he wants. And most of the time, the family can't go for a long days vacation because he can't left alone. For some his just a thin and regular stray, but for us, he is a big part of our family. #petchallenge #communityrewards #BCHNostr #bitcoin
