Reasons to Praise God There’s a verse in the Bible that has some people scratching their heads and wondering what in the world did God mean? It’s found in James 1:2, where it says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.” Now, one might say, “Just wait one minute! Does God actually want me to enjoy my heartache?” Well, of course not! Keep on reading verse 3, “because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” And verse 4, “Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” God is perfecting our characters, to prepare us for heaven, and we must persevere to stay strong, fight the good fight, and finish the race! There’s a reason God allows us to experience trials, although it doesn’t mean every time we go through heartache, that it’s God’s fault - sometimes life just happens as the result of sin! But how we respond to our hard times is what’s important! Instead of blaming God - lean on Him! Ask for strength, courage, and comfort and you’ll find that working through each trial grows perseverance that is faith-building and even in the midst of the trial, you’ll find reasons to praise God! Text: Romans 5:3-4, 2 Thessalonians 3:5, Hebrews 12:1, 1 Peter 1:6-7 image
Fun fact about Ginisang Ampalaya 🥒🍳 Ampalaya (bitter melon) is known for its unique bitter taste, but many Filipinos love it because it becomes delicious when sautéed with eggs, onions, and tomatoes. The bitterness can also be reduced by soaking it in salt before cooking. Question: Do you enjoy eating ampalaya, or is its bitter taste a no for you? 😊 image

@ShoHaNa🦋 #heartormind I chose “I listen to my mind.” As time goes by and as I mature, I have learned to prioritize my thoughts over my emotions. Problems also become more complex as we grow, and we cannot always let our feelings or our hearts lead our decisions. At the end of the day, I become more productive and make better choices when I use my mind and think logically rather than simply following my emotions. @MaeB image
There are moments when we wake up in the morning and we don’t feel like ourselves. Everything feels a little heavier, and sometimes we don’t even know why. For women, especially during our period, these feelings can be stronger because of hormonal changes that affect our emotions, mood, and cravings. I personally cope with those moments by allowing myself to enjoy the food that I’m craving. Sometimes, a simple comfort food can bring a little happiness and help me feel better while going through those changes. It’s okay to have days when we’re not at our best. What matters is that we learn to understand ourselves and give ourselves the care we need. How about you? When you have your menstrual period, do you also experience cravings? What food do you usually crave, and why? image
😊 image
Things I Am Grateful For This Morning This morning, I want to take a moment to appreciate the things I have and the blessings I receive every day. I am thankful to God because even though I know I am not a perfect person, He continues to bless me in many ways. One of the simple things I am grateful for is my breakfast. I am blessed to have a complete and balanced meal with coffee, rice, and different kinds of food on the table. I feel lucky that even during times when we are struggling financially, we can still eat and enjoy the food that we like. Of course, there are also moments when we need to save and learn how to manage what we have, but having enough food to eat is already a blessing. Sometimes, we forget that the simple things we experience every day are already gifts from God. Waking up, having food, having people who support us, and receiving help from others are things we should never take for granted. We should always be grateful for whatever we have. Let us continue to thank God for His blessings and appreciate the people who help and support us in our everyday lives. Good morning mga kBch fam🤗 image

Informed Decisions It’s human nature to want information with as much facts as possible before making decisions, so you can know what to expect before determining your course of action. For instance, before accepting a job, you want to know how much you’ll be paid, what the work environment is like, and if you like the people you’d be working with. Before purchasing a house, you pay for an inspection so you can know before you purchase just what repairs might be needed and how much they would cost - which allows you to make an informed decision before signing on the dotted line. Knowing the facts and being informed is not only prudent, but wise. It’s no different when it comes to spiritual things. God wants you to “know” what you believe by studying His Holy Word! It’s dangerous to blindly accept what others say about the Scriptures, and that includes your pastor! The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” God wants you to receive spiritual truth from your pastor, but He also wants you to search the Scriptures yourself - not just taking what is said as the “gospel truth.” He wants you to come to Him and allow Him to speak to your heart. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” Ask God for wisdom, guidance, and understanding before reading His Holy Word so you can start today making . . . informed decisions! Fun Facts About Dragon Fruit 🐉🍓 It’s not actually a dragon’s fruit! 😄 Dragon fruit got its name because of its unique skin that looks like flames or dragon scales. It comes from a cactus family. 🌵 Unlike most fruits that grow on trees, dragon fruit grows on climbing cactus plants. The flowers are special. 🌸 Dragon fruit flowers are large, white, and usually bloom at night, which is why they are sometimes called “moonflowers.” There are different colors inside. ❤️🤍 Some dragon fruits have white flesh, while others have bright pink or red flesh.
