Our son is now seriously on solids! Hubby made us 2 burritos each when we got home, and our son was still asleep... then they finished getting done and he woke up! I might have gotten about 1.5 burritos, and only cause I shoved the last half in my mouth while feeding him a smaller bite 😅🤣 Then we made more and now he's trying to eat those too! 🤣👶💪

God wants to speak to you more than you want to hear from him. God wants you to hear from him, more than you want to hear from him. So, if you find yourself hearing the lie that it's hard to hear from God, I highly recommend renouncing that lie and believing what God is actually saying, it is easy to hear from Him!

Sitting at a cafe all day, they had a breakfast deal for 4 breakfast sandwiches for $15.99, so I got that one and have portioned them to last the whole day 😎 Way better deal than spending $6.99 on each one! I love finding cheaper ways to stay fed. (not to be confused with Fed, I don't wanna be one of those for anything!)

The natural state is light, not darkness, because we live in Gods universe. Adam and Eve covered up, distanced themselves from God, the Light, and thus darkness entered the world, but it's not for a lack of light, but rather the light being covered up. Jesus, The Light, came into the world and gave light back to EVERYONE (John 1:9) not just those who believe. Thus, the natural state isn't darkness, but LIGHT!

Our son spotted a little girl about his size and one several years older and walked over to their table. He was checking out the older girls pink sparkling shoes with a plastic diamon on them when the little girl was let down and instantly walked over and started giving him lose hugs. Apparently she loves to give hugs, so she went between hugging our son and her sister, and then a chair once, and then more hugs for our son, I'm pretty sure our son got about 30-50 hugs from her! She's about a year and a half, so only a few months older than our son. He pointed in her face a few times, as is his custom 🤣🤣🤣

Hubby got some coffee, and our son kept pointing at it so he gave him some, and now he keeps pointing at it wanting more! 🙄🤣🤣🤣 Only my mom drinks coffee in my family, so her one wish for a son-in-law was for him to drink coffee, and she got it. It seems all her prayers for me to start drinking coffee skipped a generation and went to my son 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Our son is playing outside and found a piece of clay and put it in his mouth! He realized it wasn't great, but laughed as I wiped him. It looked like he'd had chocolate! 🤣🤣🤣👶 Usually he doesn't open his mouth but he let me wipe out his mouth a bit this time which is why I think he didn't really like it 🤣

The little tap tap of baby feet on the floor is one of the most beautiful sounds! 🥰👶 I used to like the slap slap sounds of his hands hitting the floor while he crawled, but it has been upgraded now 😎

We have multiple bills coming up, but I got 50 sats for a comment so that covers everything, right!?!? 50 sats is about $1500, right!?!?!? 🤗💪😃

I love our son, he's very smart! Our son has figured out that if he smashes the bottle nipple against the foor, water comes out, and then he sits on the floor and splashes the little puddle he just created! 🙄🤣🤣🤣 I now only half fill his bottle with water when he's thirsty. I love being a mom!

8am, our sons: GOODMORNING!!! 😃😃😃😃😃 We're like: 😑😴😴😴😴😴😴 When you have an almost toddler, it's a good idea to not stay up too late 😅

"Learning and implementing healthy habits while you’re still single will set you up for success once you do get married." I'm reading through the chapter on how to reconnect with yourself and your souse from "How to Prepare Yourself for Marriage" and this is really good stuff! I've been thinking of pulling out certain things from this book to put into a book for those already married as certain habits can also be learned post marriage, and will seriously help you stay married! Here's one way I wrote about in the book for how to restore feelings of love for your spouse, or even how to reconnect with friends as a practice before you've got your spouse: "Another way I practice is by reminding myself of things I like or love about him. For this, he doesn’t actually need to hear what I’m thinking, and it usually doesn’t take very long before my lovey dovey feelings for him return, and I’ll want to be close, both verbally, physically, and emotionally. Something you can start practicing now is to pick a friend, any friend, and start listing the things you enjoy about them. Maybe what your hopes and dreams for them are. Try it with someone you may not have interacted with for a while, and see how your heart reacts. Most likely, you’ll gain a desire to want to reach out, and maybe check in on how they’re doing, or wonder about how something you knew they were working on before has gone. "

Sometimes I look on Nostr and almost everything I see are from developers or coders or people who talk techie. Sometimes I find what they say interesting, but most of the time I go on here to read stories and funny thoughts. I obviously already know @Noshole and @Yarnlady 🧶 who else are some good accounts to follow???

Yesterday I realized that our son is now tall enough to pull things off of the counter. We need more upper cabinet space! 🤣🤣🤣

We went up on the mountain today and it was an amazing relief from the desert! There's pine trees and cool temps! We came across 62f at the top before going home, and once we reached the city center it was 86f! Now it's time to celebrate cinnamonbun day! 🥳💪

If you wanna find out if you have unnoticeable hair in your carpet, just have a baby, wait until they can get around, give them a banana and wait until they drop some pieces on the carpet, pick them up, and voila!
