Having been forcefully separated from my son for a week, I knew we'd be reunited, but it was still extremely painful. That's nothing compared to the agony Jesus and the Father went through when Jesus was on the cross. Having been together for eternity before that and after that, but even just that moment of separation... ouch! I'm extremely grateful for my parents-in-law for all they've done this past almost month! And soon we will be done with all of this, because when God fights for us, no one can be against us! Without God, I'm not sure I could have carried all of this.

I opened Instagram earlier today to check on a picture I uploaded there last summer to promote our book, and discovered I had a message from a friend from last Christmas. 🤣 Clearly, I don't use Instagram! 😅🤣🤣😎

Went to Chili's for a celebration lunch today and I shared a burger with my hubby, and we shared our fries with our son. They started by bringing out chips and salsa, and our son watched us and his grandparents eating them and wanted in on it. He got a hold of a chip and cracked off a bit of the edge, and I was keeping my eye on him cause those things can do some damage if chewed wrong, and he still only has 4 front teeth (the 5th and 6th teeth just started making their way, but still have some time before breaking through!) He did end up swallowing some of the chip, but some either fell out or maybe he spit out, so I removed those from his reach. Before we left, he got a hold of a straw still in its paper package which he of course put in his mouth. I'm glad he loves hanging upside down, as I can use that as a trick to get him to open his mouth if he puts something in it I don't want him to swallow! 🤣😅

It's interesting how when I haven't had something for a while, something normal like most people have, those normal things mean a ton! Like standing up inside, Like not needing to put liquids in the car after every time it was driven Like being able to cook and keep food cold at home Like being able to drive with the windows up in 100f weather and be cool, Like having my son and husband in the same room together, You know, the things that are part of most people's normal lives, but when they've been missing for a while, can cause feelings of extreme relief when experienced again. Today was a great day!

When I was looking for a husband, one of the things on my list was a man who wanted to be a father. I had no interest in being "a single mom with a husband". When I met my husband, I knew he'd be a great father and I'd trust him with my kids before I'd even realized if he was the man for me. I've LOVED watching my husband being a dad to our son for the past 9 months. Even when I was finally getting a break from dealing with all the feedings and diapers in the beginning, I often found myself watching my husband play with and love on our son, instead of doing whatever it was I'd been longing to do for a while. @LeviJohnson.net You truly are an amazing father, (and husband) and I am so blessed to share my life with you! I look forward to seeing you with our son, and all of our future children. I know that if I leave them in your care, you're not simply babysitting them, you are fathering them, and I know that because our kids gets to have you as a dad, they will be truly blessed and competent! Recently realized that this weekend is midsummer! It's about to start getting darker again, but only in ways of the sun, all other ways I pray will keep getting better and brighter!

I just heard how Wyoming as a government treats people like they are responsible adults capable of making their own decisions?! When we came to Arizona, we realized that a lot of people here are "live and let live" "mind your own business" kind of people (unlike California that watches and minds your business!) However, the government here is more like California. So, no thanks...

Last night I got a handful of popcorn and our son was convinced it was for him. Since he's only 9 months old, I didn't want him to eat any of the sharp parts, so I pulled of tiny pieces of white popcorn and fed him, and he was lounging in my lap, like I was his personal servant! And if I wasn't fast enough, he started getting up to go get one for himself so I hurried! 🤣👶 I love our son!

Our son went to IHOP with his grandparents and apparently ate about half of his grandmas food. I'm starting to wonder if he's having a growth spurt, cause apparently he eats a lot now! 🤣👶

It's a lot easier to plant trees and beautiful than change a government. Pick where you live accordingly.

I'm ready for a nap. They say, sleep when your kid sleep, well, my son's way too awake to nap 😔🤣

We were eating at a Sam's Club cafe recently and my hubby got up and walked over to me and kissed me, and a bit later we started talking to some Lady who'd sat behind me who commented "That looked so precious I wanted to take a picture but then realized that would be kinda creepy so I didn't" 🤣🤣

I had a dream that I was 9 months pregnant. I went to a hospital (of sorts) and checked in, but then realized I wasn't actually in labor and wondered why I had gone there already, as it could take another 2 weeks before I'd actually give birth. After a bit of contemplation, I decided to leave, and I helped do some maneuvering of cars with my husband and someone else as we had gotten a new car (it was the new car we got in real life!) Then I woke up. Though we have a now 41 week old son, I never actually got to experience going into labor, so I'm still unfamiliar with what that's like, and clearly I didn't even get a dream experience of it 🤣

We just got a major win! Still waiting for lots of other stuff, but at least things are moving forward! 😭😭😭😭🥳😭🥳
