Spent the weekend at a guitar pedal convention. It was awesome. Got to meet a lot of cool people from smaller companies that I have a lot of respect for. Coming home with two handmade pedals, one custom. Cant wait to get home and turn some knobs.

I wonder why natural selection seems to so aggressively avoid 90 degree angles. To a human, they seem great as they allow for the formation of boxes, which is a great shape for stacking and is efficient for min/maxing the volume of a container. But I still feel the saying "in nature, right angles are the wrong angle" is true. I would love a more scientific reason as to why though.

Got a cool idea for a guitar mod in the works. Hope to have it working on a breadboard after I get out of the fiat mines tonight. The idea is to have a way to do controlled volume drops / swells without having to constantly ride the volume knob.
