pretty sure I’m not technical enough but I stand against a Wall Street Bitcoin network.
Bitcoin is e cash.
Bitcoin is money.
Bitcoin is sound money.
Bitcoin is store of value.
Bitcoin is sovereignty.
Bitcoin is freedom.
Bitcoin is not Larry Fink, Wall Street, CBDC, or any other shit they want us to buy or hold.
Fuck them.
Bought my first bag of sats 6 years ago, as for many of us, it’s been a tough journey because of mistakes.
First, I started gambling (trading) and lost it all.
But I kept buying.
Then I improved my game by finding ways to make money (work, trade, DeFi) and used that money to buy and forget (hodl).
Then I realized I know nothing about Bitcoin and started a learning journey while buying a few sats on a regular basis.
The Rabbit Hole is not only Bitcoin, it’s open source, decentralization, privacy, security and freedom.
By now, I hold bitcoin personally and through every business / company I own, I run a full node and transition from centralization to decentralization, to open source, to secure hardware.
It’s a journey for self sovereignty and freedom. It’s beautiful.
Beware of scammers, trust no one.
I want to share a story that serves as a stark reminder of the importance of self-custody and security in the world of Bitcoin. Recently, someone I know received a phone call from a scammer posing as a representative from Crypto(.)com. The caller provided her own security code and asked her to forward account recovery emails to gain access to her account.
In a moment of vulnerability, she complied, thinking she was resolving an issue. It wasn’t until the scammer realized the account was empty that the tone changed. The scammer then asked for her 12-word recovery phrase.
When she called me for help, she was understandably distressed and felt uncomfortable with the technical aspects. I told her to stop everything and not engage further with the scammer. I advised her to report the incident to the police and secure her other accounts. Thankfully, her account was empty, and she didn’t lose any funds.
This experience is a wake-up call for all of us. Scammers are out there, and they’re getting more sophisticated. **Self-custody is crucial**. Always be vigilant, trust your instincts, and never share your security information with anyone. Protect yourself, because in this digital age, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
