With regards to paying $185 for 3/4 of a tank of gas today, that was from Costco. It's 14 cents per litre than everywhere else in town. And as far as Costco shopping went, $512 for one shopping cart full, and no steaks. I couldn't justify$71 for a 3 pack of ribeyes. We did get a big ass pack of ground beef, and a tube of ground pork; a couple of pork shoulders; some bacon; a bag of shrimp and a couple of racks of back ribs. And some other ancillary shit. But no steaks. But no steaks.

A dude named Ludd. Follow along as I build and rebuild the Carbon Kitchen, my ongoing culinary experiment and experience in my backyard. Maybe some gardening. And the occasional rant. And a bit of RUSH when the mood strikes me. Okay, probably a lot of RUSH.
Apparently we're traveling back to the Middle East tonight for a helping of Moussaka. She's using eggplants from our garden.
Apparently Vietnamese is like Chinese food; an hour later and I was hungry. I attempted that newfound popcorn method, adding the turmeric this time. Amazing. Like movie popcorn sans chemicals. Now I need to add the nutritional yeast to fully appreciate the recipe. Or barf it up; I've yet to taste that stuff.

Viet-something tonight.
