“Nostr Native” vs “Nostr Integrated” Nostr Native is applications that builds 95%+ features with Nostr relays only. Nostr Integrated is applications that builds its own system and only integrate with Nostr for parts that make sense. I will use case studies such as @Geyser @Alby, zap.stream by @Kieran as “Nostr Integrated” applications and most other Nostr clients as “Nostr Native” applications. I will argue that “Nostr Integrated” is the better way build applications. I will then dive deep into how blowater.app transform from “Nostr Native” to “Nostr Integrated” and promote a little bit about my new project

Looks like Relayed has a memory leak. Not that easy to implement a monolithic long running program HAHAHAH

Just purchased @Damus Purple with @Alby wallet. The experience is smooth.

I deleted Damus on my phone and install it on Mac to reduce my phone time. It works. It’s also much smoother to scroll Damus than Web clients. Typing my keyboards makes me articulate. I like it.

Just watched 君たちはどう生きるか and I liked it. The English title is horrible. It reminds me of すずめの戸締まり In terms of using time traveling to meet past/future self/mother and to resolve the internal conflicts of the protagonist, すずめの戸締まり did it better Both moved me. すずめの戸締まり let me cry out

Historically, wss://relay.blowater.app is deployed with strfry. It was fine but not so flexible to operate and manage. I took it down. Months later, wss://relay.blowater.app is reborn with Relayed, the newest relay implementation in the hood. Connect to it and have fun. This relay is slow and I will block random people to just test

@Yonle Bostr is getting a bit annoying syncing with relay.blowater.app I might consider blocking it for now before I have a rate limit logic

A female user driven client is the most overlooked thing in Nostr. I’m not saying this to be politically correct. I am saying this with real business values. Females spend most in online shopping. Fashions, makeups are naturally shareable on social media. Men don’t spend shit. I spend like 1% of my income to buy cloths every month because I don’t even buy cloths every month. If you want a sustainable profitable business, make female users happy

I am implementing a relay because Blowater is aiming to replace Discord and that requires a different relay design. Existing relay softwares are designed to be like a Twitter backend which is not what Blowater needs. Nostr may start from Twitter but it will not end there. View quoted note →
