Go might be the best language for Nostr client, more precisely the model part in MVC.
The concurrency model is perfect for handling the Miriads of connections lifecycles.
It is easy to track and clean go routines that are no longer needed.
It compiles to any platform, wasm included.
Reliable performance, low memory overhead, easy profiling and easy to write.

The real reason big tech stock are reluctant adding bitcoin to their treasury is because they currently compete with asset classes.
Apple and Microsoft stocks are held massively by institutions, they represent a huge part of the S&P 500, small investors literally uses them as a store of value.
If those companies chose to add Bitcoin to their treasury, it would be seen as a major endorsement for Bitcoin.
The short term effect of it would be for tech investors to sell their stock and buy Bitcoin
It is inevitable, but those companies will be the last to add Bitcoin to their treasury
it would be awesome if the cashu round-robin offered some API endpoints for Nostr app to suggest which mints to trust and use with NIP-60 wallets
@calle
Nostr gives you the possibility to self host your digital identity, your tweet, your voice, your content and monetize it on your own term.
This was before impossible, you had to give up your digital identity to big tech companies and use it on their own term.
That alone is a huge incentive for people to run their own relay and host their own voice View quoted note →
