Alright folks, this one is a treasure that I thought some of yall might enjoy for the upcoming spring or summer festivities. Its easy, take about an hour, and feeds a mess of people. Enjoy! This one is straight from the South and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We call it Low Country Boil, is our neighboring state (SC) it is affectionately referred to as Frognoore Stew. Main: One White onion Large chopped fine, Corn on the cob in thirds (about 6 to 9 ears (Up to 30 pieces or so) , Kielbasa or Andouille sausage, Red Potatoes, Shrimp/crab/crayfish (Something to that effect) Liquids and Season: 6 boxes of chicken broth 6 back of beer, If possible use Flying Dog Beer, Old Bay Summer Ale, Dead Rise Zatarains liquid bottle and dry pouch Big jar of mince garlic (6 - 8 ounces) Add salt Add pepper Add water (About double what is already there for liquid Add old bay season Hot sauce, Texas Pete small bottle (If desired, it will have a good kick already this will just make it a real good kick)   Remember the water and beer will skim down to normal level, but don’t be scared to add more salt   Mix liquids and seasoning together in a very large pot (I use a turkey fryer/fish fryer.. propane and outdoors) Bring liquid and season to a boil Add potatoes and onion cook for 30 minutes add corn continue to cook for 10 minutes Add Sausage continue to cook for 5 minutes Add Shrimp/crab continue to cook for 3 to 6 minutes Strain out ingredients and serve from a large foil pan or serving dish. Serve with butter for Potatoes and Corn..  Should feed about 20 people maybe up to 30.. #southernfood #foodstr #foodstr #recipe

Join Havok and LX on the Space Tomatoes Podcast for a thoughtful conversation with Dr. Marc J. Defant, professor of geology and geochemistry at the University of South Florida. A scientist whose career began with volcanoes, Dr. Defant brings a data-driven perspective to one of today’s most intriguing debates: evolutionary psychology versus social constructionism. What shapes who we are, biology rooted in hundreds of thousands of years of hunter-gatherer life, or a blank-slate mind shaped only by culture? Dr. Defant explores how instincts, testosterone, gender roles, and evolutionary pressures still influence modern society, relationships, parenting, education, and even campus culture. Expect clear, evidence-based insights on masculinity and femininity, male parental investment, sexual selection, and why recognizing our biological heritage can actually support, rather than undermine, equality and understanding. This episode is perfect for anyone curious about the timeless nature-versus-nurture conversation and its real-world implications today. Science-first, respectful, and eye-opening from start to finish. New episodes every week hit subscribe and join the Space Tomatoes crew! image
