I've seen a lot of people fail at trying to prove the earth is round... and others fail at proving it flat. I grew up believing the round thing and it's hard to imagine that idea being wrong, but anything's possible. I think radio waves shoot out straight into space and dont bend (much). So, reaching places on the other side of the earth is difficult due to it's round nature. But I havent tried it. I guess airplanes dont fly straight over long distances, but instead adjust to the curvature of earth to maximize efficiency. But again, I just take this as truth, I'm not a pilot. Sometimes I wonder if it matters to me at all. @mar is going to charter a boat the see the great ice wall one day. Maybe that will tell us something.
