Finished my first run-through of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster on my phone today. I took a Thief, a Monk, a Black Mage and a White Mage for a spin and had fun with it. Now I'm starting a group of all mages for funsies, 2 Red Mages, 1 White Mage and 1 Black Mage. Okay so I played the original Dragon Warrior (it's called Dragon Quest now) on the NES when it was new and I always wondered if the little tail/tip on the slimes was supposed to be slime trailing off into the distance behind them, or if they were supposed to be like a Hershey's Kiss? So I built a new #PC mostly for #PCGaming as I've been doing since the 90's and I have it completely up and running except for the new video card I had planned to get. I'm almost $3000 into this thing and I would love to finish it, but I can't for the life of me find an #RTX 5080. Honestly I don't know what I'm going to do because I don't expect to be able find find an #nVidia card anytime in the near future, either. I'm going to end up saving up for a new computer AGAIN so I can buy a prebuilt or maybe a gaming laptop because I guess building your own computer is a thing of the past now? #nVidia clearly doesn't give a fuck about those of us that have been building our own #gaming PC's and buying their video cards for literally decades now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just watched #TheLordOfTheRings The War of the Rohirrim and it was pretty great! Great story, great animation and more than a couple nods to the familiar. Is it weird to say that it has the best animated snow I've ever seen? And I grew up in Iowa, so I know snow. Also, there are exactly 2 orcs in it and I saw in the Details section that they're voiced by none other than Merry and Pippin 😄🤘🏼
