I can see birds flying happily in the sky through the window. It is good.

I play acoustic guitar. I heeded a few bits of formative advice: Learn the open chords. Then experiment between them. Don’t use a pick. Don’t play electric for a few years. Don’t learn cover songs, find your own songs. I ended up playing very little electric and rarely using a pick for the first 20 years, and I only last year started learning barre chords. I know very few cover songs, but have found a few songs over the years, while exploring, that had already been written. The result is that, on the one hand, I do not have an obvious album yet (though I could have half-assed a dozen by now). On the other, like the turtle, not the hare, the pieces, parts, melodies and progressions that I’ve slowly found have solidified themselves as regular parts of my routines and have begun to form together into an eventual masterpiece that I can only now see the edges of. The result after the next 20 years will be an interoperable set – potential for infinite medley among originals that interweave and are adaptable to circumstance, taste, or preference, and that can dovetail with recognizable melody to allow for familiar participation from anyone. Being of the sort, philosophically, to imagine the crowd on stage and the musician as a fan, I have not pieced out these melodies into single salable bits to be commoditized alongside canned influencing in competition for unwisely spent adolescent dollars. Rather, I record ideas, messily, just in case I die, and just in case I forget them. Occasionally I have shared a clip or two for kicks on Nostr. At times I’ve practiced with drummer friend, and at times campfire (both of whom hold keys to my eternal art). But for the most part I wait for that next 1 2 project that will certainly occur, somehow, somewhere, if I stay true. Here I’ll post some recordings, you can imagine them written on napkins.

History is best viewed as the writings of those with agenda mixed with those avoiding beheading. Not my history though. No one has so much as threatened to clip my fingernails, and my agenda (in retrospect, i guess) to be curing boredom comma trying to be funny comma reducing hierarchy induced anxiety despite a mild parental displeasure that long ago replaced any attempt to rationalize my behavior. Wait what were we talking about?

Conditions of early adoption market give advantage to those who don't require a self sustaining balance sheet in the near term. Thus crowd sourced reputation. And you, Norm, can imagine that with what we have already seen in the world. But the special ingredient, in this new open decentralized free nostr world: respect for the individual. Early nostr reputation was based on prior relationships among early builders, and many early adopters accepted in full this bootstrapping set. But as variety of user base was introduced over time, 'multidimensional heat maps' were among the tools needed to visualize an organically developing landscape of trust. And, of course, these man made efforts only reflected the ever changing reality. IRL efforts to uphold known humans as early adopters who might hold trustworthy sway over future direction had a downstream effect on the reputation system, as was the case when underfunded HiveTalk became undisputed champion by reputation and practical function alone, and when Sir Sleepy became Nostr's Apparel Czar, from which generations of gigsters would ultimately blossom. And then there were the wildcards, the trolls, the jesters, and even those with antithetical agenda. They would all. Make up the tapestry. The mosaic. The smorgasbord even. That is nostr

Reverse contentfilter, local client(relay?) that requests(receives?) notes from public relays after they have been zapped by friends or friends of friends. Or a zap is the literal notification that a note should be re-stored to the type of relays that lots of people would then choose to use. Make a relay that only stores zapped notes global minus any npub not in the top 10 known irl decent humans and 3 hops of followers, and recommend that relay as a spam and unmentionables free onboarding relay.

Open shared educational mnemonic templates for learning and remembering undisputed consensus knowledge. Effectively a historical record and universal curriculum, with the arguments at the edges closely matching civilization relevance, and with survival duration a metric that would have more fidelity to truth.

So obvious that it went without saying, but unsaid for so long, it was forgotten. Only mindless ritual tradition remained-- the original builders were gone.

One thing I like about JBP is he seems to have a piece of paper somewhere that lists "a) experience b) language c) the pen d) time ... therefore write and say almost anything reasonably supported by experience" and so he leverages all platforms to scale reach and effect and then Russel Brand says, same, but twice as fast, and others similarly because, well, because action is better than inaction, I suppose is a good way to look at it, asks for action begets good inspired action, you might say

Let me guess, we're all in the 'Epstein files', (some more than others), which grew over time to include any data that could be purchased or otherwise obtained from individuals, governments, corporations, markets, and devil is in the details. This would mean many surprises, many cases where truth is opposite of what is commonly thought.

Group chats that require 100% vote to admit a new member or to boot an existing. Display those who have requested in and those who have been recommended by members for new membership, so that they can be voted on. Secession rights to stop notifications or for any reason. Feels funny. Screenshot sharing would make it moot. Compartmentalized friendships and social asymmetry.
