This is another God plant. It didn't from the edges of the compost. It came up in one of the beds. Haven't planted sunflower in 2 years, so there's that.

GM, fed the dogs 2nd breakfast, planted some seeds, pruned and watered the tomatoes/garden, transplanted sod to a bare area of the yard, and finished the pot.

I call this a God plant. My compost doesn't fully cook, so I get sprouts every now and again. I frequently transplant to these to other areas of the yard.

I'm from the east coast. I've been to California dozens of times. I actually lived here in the 1970's, but I've never been to and In-N-Out Burger. This place is a fiat printing machine.
