I am a Zap convert. It just makes sense. It puts energy and value behind our interactions in cyberspace, something sorely missing from most of social media. It’s not about money. It’s about tying what we do on nostr to the real world. Likes are virtual. Zaps are real. I didn’t turn likes off out of greed, but because I believe it simply makes sense. I’ve paid out more zaps than I’ve received.

I feel no emotional attachment to the $USD price of Bitcoin at this point. The DCA hits and the number of sats increases. Play and repeat. Stay humble and keep it simple is the strategy.

“Likes” are hollow. No energy behind them. Every zap represents an amount of physical energy and love. ⚡️ ❤️

I hear a lot of people say that schools are failing because they don’t teach kids to do taxes, find a job, etc. I disagree. I would posit that the true failure is not teaching kids how to teach themselves and have the desire to grow and develop as a person completely on their own.

The best part of banks collapsing is when they blame their customers for having the AUDACITY to withdraw their own funds 🤣

When content creators fully understand value for value and have a tool to utilize it, they will latch onto it. They don’t need or want to be beholden to, at worst, a single entity (google Adsense), or at best, a set of large corporations for ad revenue. This leads to a constant fear of being cancelled and losing your income which leads to the mess we are in where every prominent celebrity has the same opinions on every issue. It’s a facade to maintain revenue. If you decentralize your content monetization, you are more secure while also being more free to make the content you want and be yourself. And your viewers/listeners can enjoy your content without ads. It’s a win-win!!

The physical world can be thought of as a set of constraints. Everything exists within constraints. The idea that you can assign a value to everything using a currency that has no supply cap makes zero sense. The energy behind Bitcoin combined with a constraint in the form of a supply cap is what ties it to reality and separates it from everything else. Bitcoin is money for the real world. 🌎

If Greenpeace wanted to change Bitcoin they probably should have submitted a BIP instead of making one of the most effective marketing campaigns for Bitcoin in history. They are learning about “equal and opposite reactions” at the moment. If this is the “then they fight you” stage, I’m not so worried. 🤣

Bitcoin was not an invention, but rather a discovery. A very important one.

If Bitcoin was the original money for our modern world and somebody did a sales pitch for FIAT they would be laughed out of the room. 😂
