Feeling cute. Might apply later.

@rabble What do you think of Ruby on Rails for Nostr development? I love it and LLMs are good at it, but heard mixed views on backends for Nostr apps.
Would you agree with Dixon's Read, Write, Own if "blockchain" was replaced with "nostr" and "tokenomics" with "zaps"?
Vibe coded a Nostr bookmarking app. It's very basic, but I learned a lot in the process. Check it out at
Pete and I also recorded a podcast episode about the experience
Pinstr - Bookmarks on Nostr
A decentralized bookmark manager built on Nostr protocol (NIP-B0). Save, organize, and share your favorite web pages securely.
KP016: Bookmarking on Nostr - Key Pair
Two developers exploring Bitcoin, Lightning, and Nostr to build user-empowering apps
@npub1gzuu...a5ds made we aware of NIP-B0. With Tidewave.ai and Claude it was trivial to rewrite my bookmarking implementation to the new format.
Anyone else out there working on bookmarking with NIP-B0?
So far really enjoying Tidewave.ai development for a Rails app. I like that with the Claude monthly subscription it is limited to a fixed cost. It integrates well with my normal dev flow too.
Si far the only real downside is that the conversation needs to restart regulalrly, because of context windows I guess.
Presenting exhibit 1000 that Europe needs Nostr:

Europe Really Is Jailing People for Online Speech
From Germany to Britain, citizens are now routinely targeted for what they say.
GM!
Interesting discussion on yolo mode. Why not yolo vibe code and then control what goes into production with good ol' git?
Writing up my first experiences with Vibe coding and I revisited the agilemanifesto. I feel like some of the good ol' developer habits make even more sense when using AI assistants. Like git for taking snapshots of your codebase and automated tests to quickly check it still works.

Is the infrastructure not likely to get commoditized? Looking at the internet infrastructure boom cited in the article: Many early internet infrastructure companies (routers, servers, fiber optics) faced brutal competition despite the internet's massive growth.
@Soak Quest
love the idea!
does it have to be local or how would international shipping work?
This MCP thing is really blowing up.
Just discovered this "anti new car ad", which also serves as a great vehicle (no pun intended) for financial and life wisdom.
