#GM, #GoodMorning, having spent about 30 years in and around the music industry, I'm convinced that somewhere there's a band that's released the next "Dark Side of the Moon," "Master of Puppets," "Joshua Tree," etc., and we'll NEVER hear it / discover it. Why? As outlined in my "Business Hour" podcast, there is a low barrier to entry to the industry, and too many "artists" and large companies gaming the system (among other things). #Value4Value can change that.

On this day in 1972, 24 year-old bassist Berry Oakley died in a motorcycle crash at what is believed to be the same intersection as Duane Allman (a year earlier). "Whipping Post" is arguably the best representation of their long-form, improvisational style of blues, rock and what would become "Americana".
If you take the lyrics of this track and think of the female antagonist as the FED (or fiat), it puts a nice #Bitcoin spin on it. ;). "I've been run down, I've been lied to... "
