Agreed. The best proof of this is the black community of the USA. In the 50s and 60s they actually had higher family formation rates and lower divorce rates than their white counterparts (though they were better in both groups then than they are now). And all of this was despite more legal discrimination than exists now. Within 2-3 generations, they now have the highest rates of fatherlessness and wedlock births on earth. Today, it is mainstream for blacks to proclaim that slavery and discrimination based on their skin is keeping them from succeeding despite the fact that their grandparents, in living memory, didn’t have these issues despite FAR more overt discrimination and more time lapsed since slavery and Jim Crow. Rather than wallowing in historical victimhood, the black community should be looking at well read, intelligent, and successful members of their community that AREN’T propped-up drug glorifying degenerates (people like Thomas Sowel and Clarence Thomas) and thinking “I can do this, we have done it before”. But that would mean leaving the leftist plantation. That’s why any actions that promote success get labled as “white”. It’s the most racist thing ever: labeling successful traits like studiousness and responsibility as “white” means saying that ONLY whites are allowed to be those things, and thus, successful.
