🚨 31,000 NEW BITCOIN MINING JOBS IN THE U.S.? Per year!! WHAT?? That's what a recent article headline states, which is very misleading. Since most people won't read beyond the headline, though, here's some context from Bitvocation, where we have been analyzing Bitcoin job data for over a year now. Let’s take a closer look. ⬇️ WHAT THE REPORT ACTUALLY SAYS The referenced study doesn’t confirm that 31,000 people work in Bitcoin mining. Instead, it uses "economic multipliers"—counting indirect jobs like utility workers and local businesses, not just mining jobs. Not just #Bitcoinerjobs. It doesn’t matter who you tell - whether it’s your partner, your accountant, your hairdresser or someone who’s actually working in the industry 😄 When you keep stating what you want, you create immense focus. The more you talk about it, the clearer you get. And remember, everyone knows someone: your hairdresser may have a client tomorrow who’s looking for someone like you. Your accountant may get a new contract with a Bitcoin startup. You just never know. Make sure people know how they can help you! I have created quite some magic in my life just by telling everyone what I was looking for. How do you do this? Simple: Whenever you find yourself in a conversation where someone asks you, “So, what do you do?” Instead of just saying what you currently do, you add what you’re looking for! Eg: “I’m a customer service agent for [x], but what I’d really love to do is [desired Bitcoin job].” “I just finished a project where I did [x] at a well known bank, and I would looove to do the same for a Bitcoin company next!” If you don’t often find yourself in situations like this, create them! Ask others what they do, and then let them ask you back :) Or publish it on social media if you dare.
