THESE occurrences are one of the primary, unspoken, reasons business that operate cross border are leaving Canada and moving to the US; The headache of an incompetent bureaucracy whose sole reason to exist is to levy taxes on imported goods costs even more in down time.

The Creature from Jekyll Island is anything but a quick read. I spent a whole semester in university on Dante's "Purgatorio" and another on "Paradisio". While both are rather short, the info contained required many books on the history and politics to which it was referring. TCFJI is so very much the same, where each page drops names and moments that require further study and opens up rabbit holes. I would love to see a university course on this!

I was supposed to head out today through NY, PA, MD, and into Richmond VA. I choose not to. I'd rather watch the insanity on YT with Ryan Hall. Daughter was supposed to fly out of LaGuardia today but it's closed. We got snow, ice, wind, and now tornados (getting close to family in FLA). I'd rather just shovel a couple of times, eat homemade pea soup, and read. Ain't no load worth the adventure or misadventure that awaits.
