The temperature today was hot, but the humidity wasn’t overbearing. Since I spent time last night making this morning’s checklist, I was able to start my work faster. I did most of my projects first thing after I was ready for the day. (I didn’t make any coffe, thought! I almost always make coffee. Maybe I’ll make an iced coffee drink tonight! 😋) Around 2-3P, when it seemed to be the hottest, I sat on the couch and dozed for a bit. Kiddo stole my living room chair, so I sat elsewhere, in front of a window with a breeze. Have a great day, friends!

Today in northern Ohio it is too hot to do much of anything. So I am organizing and photographing items I need to put on Marketplace. It isn't the best job, but no is offering to pay me to sit and eat ice cream sundaes!

We’ve been finding 6 oz pkgs of blackberries at Meijer for $.50 each. I’ve been picking up 6-10 pkgs of them up every time we stop! Love those berries!!!

The yard is mowed, and the sky is dark. Now I am emptying the spoiled food from my formerly-thawed freezer. The garbage can is 98 gallons, and I think I will have to split the remaining spoiled food between this trash day and next. I am so looking forward to getting the spoiled food gone!!! The trash dumpster is going to be so full & heavy in the morning…and cold (because of the frozen food. I froze the spoiled food b/c I thought it would retard decay, and smell less if while it is frozen. Good night, All! I hope you rest well, and wake ready to face Monday! B

Hello, NOSTR Friends! Today is the last cool-ish day before the heat blasts northern Ohio. I’ve been reading that we’ll be experiencing the high 90’s! (I know, Texans are giggling…) So this afternoon I’m going to town to buy fuel for the mower so I can mow the yard while the temperature is still reasonable! The birds are still singing, and the breeze is still blowing. I hope you are having a great Sunday, and that you and your family went to church this morning. As a side note…it sounds like a big event is happening at the drag strip in Norwalk, Ohio. I’ve heard many races happening yesterday and today! Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well. It is 74 and partly cloudy in northern Ohio, and the Weather Channel app says our high today will be 77. I did something different today. I made and started my list of things to get done before posting. I’m off to play with electricity! A switch needs to be replaced in our range hood, and I need to find out why a (GFCI) outlet quit putting out! (See what I did with the words?? 😜). So…I’m going to get back to work now. Good night, NOSTR Friends! I hope you sleep well. Today did not go as I expected. First, my body decided it would be fun to wake up (5:20A) 1-2 hours earlier than my alarm was set for. And, because I was not rested, I thought and moved slower than I usually do (started later…). Finally, I totally forgot that my wife and I had a viewing to attend. A friend from church had recently passed… So after all that, and when we were back home, we met my dad at my inlaws‘ house and we celebrated a belated Father’s Day. I think that turned out being the only thing that went according to plan. But I am thankful that I still have a dad to celebrate with! Sleep well, my Friends! Be thankful for every day you have with Family. They’ll run out of someday and you’ll wish for just one more.

Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you're well this morning. The weather channel says it is 67 and cloudy outside now. They say to expect a high temp of 82 this afternoon. I have a feeling that today is going to be a long day as my body decided it was a good idea to wake up at 5:20. After getting up and dressed for the day, I protested the decision and snoozed in my living room chair until 8:30. Now I'm going to make some coffee, make my daily list, and start my day for real. Y'all have a great and productive day! Work hard, and get a lot done.

Hello, NOSTR Friends! Today was a profitable day, even though I felt like it moved slowly. I made a new checklist for both Monday and Tuesday, then swept the unfinished tasks from both of those days into Wednesday. While I didn't finish the whole list, I did finish more tasks than I thought I would. (I wasn't optimistic as today's tasks were things I didn't want to to on Monday or Tuesday. But they needed to be done, too! And now most of them are. I think we'll use the remainders of today's list to start the day tomorrow. Anyway...that was waaaaay longwinded. I hope you sleep well!
