Hey @jack and @UNCLE ROCKSTAR... I wanted to pitch Madeira Island as a possible location for a future edition of the Nostr Unconference. As we are only doing the 2nd edition of Bitcoin Atlantis in 2028, we can help you locally with all the production. Plus we are already home to many ostriches and purple related projects, like @Sovereign Engineering! It would be fire! 🔥 image

Another #BitcoinInfinityDay and so much happened in Madeira in a year! It was the year that @FREE Madeira was launched in a big way and we immediately made a huge splash with @Bitcoin Atlantis! 🔥 The conference was amazing. Bitcoiners visited Madeira from all over the world and many locals were also intrigued and curious about all the movement. 👀 We then refocused on FREE Madeira’s longterm objectives: education, merchant adoption, circular economy, energy, lobbying, the own space in downtown Funchal and the network of advisors that are so close to our heart! 🧡 We have a long journey ahead of us and we will be hoping on those stepping stones towards a bright orange future! Onwards! 🚀 I also want to acknowledge those who have helped me realize this dream since the very beginning. The community is amazing and I couldn’t have even started without their blessing and continuous support! image

One of the things we like most about #bitcoin is its ability to serve EVERYONE. Products shouldn’t impose what they offer but should adjust to user needs. @Fedi shows a legit desire to be inclusive and accessible to all. 🌍 @FREE Madeira

“We’re all bored now. But has it ever occurred to you, Wally, that the process that creates this boredom that we see in the world now may very well be a self-perpetuating unconscious form of brainwashing created by a world totalitarian government based on money and that all of this is much more dangerous than one thinks and it’s not just a question of individual survival, Wally, but that somebody who’s bored is asleep and somebody who’s asleep will not say no?” - Andre Gregory in 1981’s My Dinner With Andre Watch the whole clip at @Avi Burra
