Spaceship--Andy Gammer
This is such a cute song about being excited to begin #fatherhood. It was one hell of a test of breath control as well.

My son wanted a beat for his toys to dance. I obliged... and then I found out that this was going to be a game like musical chairs or something.

Random Beat
Hey npub1ht4cvtenrqusa3d0tjwmvjh9mkewlsdf0k65ce2sv44l5twvq49sajqeku i told you I could just write music on the fly. The song idea just hit me while driving, so I placed my phone on my lap and just let it rip.

@Amethyst, is the blossom sync function not working? It shows that I have "no blossom files", which makes no sense because I normally post 5 a week at least. I've never seen this before.

A cool #randombeat focusing on my #polyphonictechnique for #nostr only this morning. I love playing with the chords on this technique.
Anyway, #goodmorning and enjoy the #music
When I did this one, my wife was even like "really, put it on the Ritz?"
Yes, #nostr... A #beatbox #music rendition of Put it On the Ritz... It fits better than I thought too.
Some minor mistakes, but I was just having fun with this #randombeat. #beatboxing is fun once you get a handle on it.
Enjoy the #music #nostr
#goodmorning #nostr
Did I mention how much I love #overtonesinging
It's just so cool and pretty when you finally get it right. Enjoy the #music
Another fun experiment with my special #polyphonictechnique, this time with the beat getting faster and more complex over time.
Enjoy the #beatboxing #music, #nostr
Weird that my scheduled post didn't drop when it said it did.
I've been leaning into practicing my #overtone techniques lately. #music
Another #randombeat to say #goodmorning #nostr. Enjoy the #music.
A recent string of comments on some of my videos has really made me think about the issues with new creative work and why people do not make new things... And why people that make original stuff cannot succeed on modern algorithms. I'm sure a lot of developers here can understand what it's about to follow too.
Imagine you're a new artist or a new creator starting something new, trying things out. You can't just quit your job. You have to do what you have time for within the limits of your already existing commitments to try something new. The algorithm and people's expectations demand consistency, which means putting out stuff all the time, because otherwise you get missed.
But to put things out all the time means that you have to just rush to publish even when sometimes there isn't enough time to put out something that is absolutely perfect.
But then you push that stuff out and people comment that they want a perfect refined professional and product. Things like "if you want to be taken seriously, you need to use this subscription software", "๐คฃ you need to work on that buddy"... and not proper constructive criticism, either, just straight up disingenuous mockery.
Those same people then complain why everyone who gets popular is part of the same cabal as all the politicians, all the influencers, all the nepo babies, and the scammers. Because where's the path forward for an honest person who actually just needs time to develop the skills and the resources to improve their product?
Nostr definitely has the better system for this by reducing the cost of entry for tips with the whole ZAP architecture. But I still see this mindset with people. People mocking others for doing stuff that even they can't do just because it's not absolutely perfect and professionally edited.
If people can't get any respect for even being 80% of the way there, don't expect them to put in the extra 20% effort to perfect anything. And don't ask the young why they're all burnt out when that's the case.
And this is not isolated to just me. I'm lucky that I could give this all up tomorrow and it not really impact my life much at all.
Two different forms of #polyphonictechnique or #overtone singing in one #randombeat. Enjoy the #music, though it is a bit repetitive IMO. but it was a fun test of my skills.
Testing a homemade app from a friend of mine. #asknostr can anyone else see this and hear the beat? [voice note: voice_1787517438118.m4a โ saved on this device]
For anyone ever wondering why beatboxers use compression microphones, this is why. This is the same clip as earlier, but with compression.
