It's midsummer fest this weekend so a national holiday tomorrow. Length of the day is approximately 22h here, no night at all up north (midnight sun). On the other hand the length of day and night flip in the winter (polar night) so the average is ok, right 😅

I wasn't happy in my first real job. It wasn't really even the job itself I think, just couldn't even think about doing that untill I retire. This lead me to start saving and investing. Later I found the FIRE movement and everything became more structural. I switched jobs a few years ago and things got better for a while but now I'm back in that same mental spot. I have no idea what I want to do next but one day I will just quit. View quoted note →
