After some time on Nostrudel instead of #amethyst and it seems that my favourite mobile app really developed some problem with fetching notifications. Lately it shows me only DMs, and I have to open my profile to force it to load at least a few reactions on those notes. Now I am seeing that there are more reactions, e.g. on replies that Amethyst completely missed. This behaviour correlates with the time I started to notice fewer people interacting. Coincidence? Is my end faulty? #asknostr

Low on time, I planned just to throw some chicken with paprika in the pot, add some leftover passata that needed to go to make a sauce, warm up dumplings and call it a day... I must have been mind-wandering while doing groceries again because I bought chicken breast with bone. I never buy with bone - I am like hobbits, I buy my meat ready to party, and not to do all those filthy things with it. #shit Okay, screw time planning, pull up a YouTube video on how to debone this particular cut, on a second tab let chatgpt throw together some quick recipe for a broth. Mission for nice & easy lunch failed successfully. Main course was good enough, although I think the usual recipe with tomato paste instead of passata gets more praise from diners. Broth got extra long time to mature - left it on low heat for over 3 hours, so not exactly 'Perpetual stew' (google it if you hear it for the first time!) but made a nice base for garlic soup for dinner. #foodstr

Date idea for a foggy morning: get to a coffee shop with outside seating, preferably sheltered so it can rain too. Order hot chocolate, tuck into the blankets they provide and just enjoy the moment. Oh, I almost forgot, we also have remote controls for each other's toys buzzing under our pants 😊
