Maybe my kind of humor isn't all my fault. At a family gathering, my older aunt was talking about her new hairstyle. 'Yeah, I used to have longer hair,' she said. 'I told my hairdresser to cut it so it barely covers my nipples, but lately my hair doesn't grow fast enough to keep up with gravity so I had to change the style!' 🤘

A little sad that I haven't created a vanity npub, maybe starting with 5008135 or something like that. Too late for that since I already made...what the hell, over 1000 notes? That's more than I expected 🤯

I think I will add the roaring twenties (imagining Great Gatsby) to my list of time periods to be isekai'd into while wealthy. I mean, the transitions/contrasts between laws prohibiting showing knees on the beach and upper-class extravagance in lingerie is a good starting point. Illegal bars of the prohibition era, with gals that just wanted to have fun. I can see a story of some motherly figure that helps younger ladies who aren't cut out for the non-romantic aspects of such life, sail through such a maelstrom. Her secret? If you saturate their senses with booze and drugs in some safe haven of yours, you can also add sapphic exploration to the list of sins. image

There once was a man named St. Francis de Sales. Holy man from the 16th century, who claimed that true virtuosity is about self-overcoming and tackling one's own resistance. I mean he said that about helping the sick and poor - basically, if you enjoy cooking for the hungry lost souls, it's not that much of a charity, 'mirite mate? Now, what grinds my gears: people around me are usually against utilitarianism, but often make a shortcut if they feel like it. 'Oh, you are such an attentive mother that you meal prep lunchboxes for a whole week for your three kids', 'oh, you are spending so much energy planning trips for each weekend', you get the picture. I mean yeah, the result is great, your kids are really lucky, but I would not necessarily consider it virtuosity (err on the side of caution) Given that take, I would be a hypocrite if I wouldn't challenge myself: is my submission (or yearning for one) and sky castle idea about serving a goddess, a sign of my virtuosity or just random squirts of hormones and psychological anomalies that make my brain feel dumb happiness?
