Hello Bitcoiners & Cohort 3 Students,
📚 Proof of Work Recap – Chapter 6 Part II
Topic:An Introduction to Bitcoin – Part II (Bitcoin as Sound Digital Money)
Lecturer: #JettyNakamoto
Moderator: #Graysatoshi
Yesterday, we concluded our Chapter 6 Part II session of the Bitcoin Diploma Course, led by our incredible educator #JettyNakamoto. The focus of this session was on Bitcoin as sound digital money, where Jetty dived deeper into the foundational features that make Bitcoin unique and reliable in today’s financial world.
During the session, students explored the characteristics of sound money and how Bitcoin fits this definition due to its limited supply, decentralization, immutability, and transparency. Jetty also explained the core features of Bitcoin such as censorship resistance, borderless transactions, and pseudonymity. A strong emphasis was placed on embracing personal responsibility, including the importance of self-custody and the popular saying: “Not your keys, not your coins.”
The class was vibrant, with great interaction and insightful questions from our students. It’s been truly inspiring to witness the growing understanding and curiosity among our Cohort 3 students.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Jetty Nakamoto for his continued dedication, time, and energy from Chapter 6 Part I to Part II. His passion for Bitcoin education continues to empower our community with meaningful knowledge.
