Giacomo began by explaining that Bitcoin is not just a technology, but a new financial revolution that is already creating diverse employment opportunities worldwide — ranging from technical roles like developers and node runners, to non-technical roles such as educators, content creators, translators, marketers, designers, event organizers, and support agents. He emphasized the importance of understanding Bitcoin deeply, no matter the role. According to him, the best Bitcoin professionals are not only skilled in their areas but also strong Bitcoiners with foundational knowledge of its philosophy, history, and mission. Giacomo highlighted how decentralized, open-source Bitcoin culture encourages self-starting, learning in public, and contributing to communities. He also pointed out platforms and organizations hiring within the space like BitcoinerJobs.com and others ,also Giacomo advising students to volunteer, start building a Bitcoin-focused portfolio, and network online and offline. He shared how even small contributions, like translating educational materials or creating Bitcoin-themed content, can open doors to full-time roles. Giacomo’s session was both motivating and strategic — guiding students to see the wide range of career paths available and how to step into them intentionally.
