Merge fields, every discipline is a branch of nature. Nature is the only industry.
All cryptographers are not cypherpunks. Cypherpunks harness the packages built by cryptographers. Learning advanced mathematics doesn’t mean you automatically understand how to minimize trust in distributed systems.
Arrogance and desperation both reek of excellence not being the norm… pulling off the impossible as if it were just another Sunday afternoon—now that sends a message.
Nostr is hard but it’s so much easier to upgrade than immutable chains, sheesh! We’re lucky to have a protocol that’s so fun to play with.
Just found out how to scale nostr follower count… in a trust-minimized way. Nice! Been stuck on that one for 3 years.

Nothing I send to the bitcoin mailing list is appearing. It’s flat out censorship. Lightly moderated they say, yeah right…
Nostr’s ability to resist going down depends on the diversity and number of relays, of which aren’t very many right now. Incentives for paying relays, or making relays easier to self-host, would greatly increase its up-time and overall decentralization (at the network level). Everyone is focused on client diversity, when network decentralization solely hinges on relays.
