For Polish readers, I invite you to check out my article on the potential of nostr in the latest issue of #iMagazine (9/2024). You can find it on page 228:

Additionally, a copy is available on my LinkedIn profile:

NOSTR — przyszłość sieci społecznościowych
NOSTR ma potencjał zrewolucjonizowania sieci społecznościowych. Pisząc „zrewolucjonizowania“ nie stosuję jedynie figury retorycznej.
Consider following the Auschwitz Memorial account. It's a reminder of where totalitarianism can lead.

Matt Ridley is one of my favourite non-fiction writers. His books “The Rational Optimist” and “The Evolution of Everything” are great examples of rationality and critical thinking. His writing is clear and engaging, and he tackles issues from first principles.
“How Innovation Works” is Ridley’s latest gem. It makes a strong case for why innovation thrives in free and decentralised environments. It’s fantastically researched and full of fascinating stories. (For example, to my surprise, I learned that coffee was once considered a subversive free speech technology .)
A must-read!

I am testing @Nostur and am impressed with its UX and functionality. It’s original and creative.
# I love:
1. Multiple accounts and a preconfigured guest account
2. Tabs at the top of the screen for easy access to long-form articles (and also to Hot, Gallery, Discover and Explore sections)
3. Easy connection with different wallets
4. The ability to tag possible imposters in DMs
5. A notification bell for someone else’s posts
6. A counter for unread posts while scrolling
7. Badges (with the option to remove them 😀)
8. Low data mode
9. Manual rescan for DMs
10. The configurable web of trust
11. The ability to delete or hide spam DMs
12. Bookmarks in various colors, along with filtering options
# I miss:
1. The ability to zap posts (I guess Apple is to blame)
2. Bigger images/graphics
# To sum up:
Nostur is a great project and a good alternative to Primal and Damus on iOS. It’s responsive and full of original features. I am going to give it a chance to become my main client.

Nostriga and Baltic Honeybadger 2024 were absolute bangers! Big shoutout to @Nostriga and @Hodl Hodl. Oh, and just a heads up—I’ve officially deleted my X account. GN!
One more thing. Here is a free month on Waking Up for everyone. Enjoy.

Happy Bitcoin ∞ Day!
I’m putting together a longer piece on Nostr for the readers of #imagazine, the biggest Polish magazine for Mac fans.
I don’t envy you, Americans. The choice between a narcissistic, sociopathic liar and a socialist, simple-minded lunatic seems like a difficult one. Or do I get something wrong?
BTW, it’s a good piece of writing @Marty Bent

Things are getting crazier out there. Save yourself with bitcoin.
Plenty of good advice in this thread.

The process of writing will quickly reveal the quality of your thinking. This alone is a good reason to write as much as you can.
Evergreen.

Apparently, we have zapped each other 19.41486219 BTC as of now—just a little over 1.1 million USD. It’s great, and it’s still early.
I am referring only to the style of this debate. Saif often finds himself at a low point, as he seems to ignore or misunderstand the repeated points and resorts to unfounded ad hominem attacks. In the section on 'identity bias,' he appears completely lost. In contrast, Konstantin behaves like an adult, remaining focused and composed under pressure.
Orange-pilling? This list of books should allow everyone to fall very deep into the rabbit hole.
