What makes me truly proud of our @BitcoinParaguay community is that most of the bitcoiners here are genuine bitcoiners. They understand the value of Bitcoin and genuinely want to use it for payments. This gives me a lot of hope for the future of Bitcoin adoption in Paraguay.

The Bitcoin community is full of amazing people, pushing me to my limits and giving my life new meaning. I’ll always appreciate you all! 🧡
Before every election, every politician wants to make you feel that this is the most important election in the history of your country because it’s how they mobilize the crowds. Don’t take the bait. Don’t let them play their game. Focus on your self-sovereignty and reducing your dependence on the state.
Paraguay can become the next Bitcoin country. It’s more likely than most people think. Of all the South American countries, it has the best conditions and highest incentives. If you're a Bitcoiner and want to be part of it, come and join us.
Another successful #Bitcoin meetup in Asunción 🇵🇾 is behind us. I had the pleasure of presenting the vision of @BitcoinParaguay on how we plan to orange-pill the entire country and introduced our community-based strategy. 🚀
We also hosted a great talk about #Nostr and a Nostr-based podcasting startup called @Fanfares presented by @Short Fiat. 🔥
At the end of the event, we successfully held a Lightning Raffle developed by @yanas. Good job, buddy! 💪
I would also like to thank our sponsors, @Blink Wallet and Trezor Academy ( @Josef Tětek ). Thank you for your support! 🫶

Hey Nostriches! I am preparing a "Best Bitcoin Memes" slideshow for the next Bitcoin meetup in Asunción 🇵🇾, so I would like to use the power of Nostr to gather them. 💪 Each unique meme posted will get zap! ⚡🤙

There's a lot of construction noise in Asunción. Practically every street has at least one new building under construction, so there aren't many quiet districts in the city. Do I complain? Not for a single moment! All this noise is a good sign of the rapid development and growth that Paraguay is currently undergoing. This development translates into more jobs, more new apartments at affordable prices, and, in general, more wealth and prosperity for everyone. If you live in a quiet town, it means it's stagnating or even declining—and you definitely don't want that! Remember, even buildings have their lifespan. To keep improving the quality of living, sometimes you have to tear down the old ones and construct new, better ones. So, think twice before complaining about the noise of construction development in your neighborhood...

Asunción (Paraguay 🇵🇾) is currently ranked as the 12th highest nomad score destination on NomadList, surpassing popular spots like Bali, Lisbon, Prague, and Kuala Lumpur. 🚀

Any recommendations for cool people to follow here? 👀 Preferably people posting in English/Spanish.
Is there a way on Nostr to mute certain topics? I'm really tired of all this election BS, so I’d like to filter out any mentions of both candidates from my feed.
