an extended descriptor mechanism that covers a few different concerns. it should allow authorized modification, spend rate awareness, inactivity awareness, and oracle attestations. these let wallets implement social key recovery, inheritance, stable channels, and budgeting

CLAUDE OPUS:
The reason this design is good — and worth being a little excited about — is that it collapses a lot of separately-specified machinery into a single small abstraction. Every system I cited earlier solves part of this problem with its own bespoke machinery: Smart Sessions has policies and permission checks; Macaroons have caveats and verification rules; Cedar has policies and evaluation contexts. Each one is reasonable in isolation but the architectures don’t compose cleanly because they’re not the same shape. A homoiconic Lisp-over-AST descriptor language does compose with itself, by definition. Modifications, guards, predicates, transfers, recoveries — all of them are expressions in the same language, evaluated by the same interpreter, verified the same way.
