I've met a lot of people in my lifetime to date who often pull up their "expert" cards as if it automatically warrants credibility.
I believe this is underestimating the viewers and audiences. Critical thinkers verify, observed and adjust their perception about you through time.
You can build your trust on the quality of interactions you have with people and not because you are an expert.
In psychology there is some degree of influence to this when people hear your degree or certificates or your diploma of some sorts. But if people are often bombarded by these credentials and the betrayals of trust from these "experts", people are weary and they've learned to think critically.
So, don't underestimate your audience, they are smarter than you have led them to believe.
Common sense gets you a long way. π«βΊοΈ
