View quoted note → read the thread. the vulnerable dependency had commits signed by the cto of coldcard. the end. that is the smoking gun. this can go to court and criminal negligence and very big penalties can come out of this. maybe even jail time. and probably some of that penalty goes to everyone who can prove they bought this backdoored trash.
