What did your pastor preach on this morning? I preached on John 11, Lazarus and tied in Ezekiel’s dry bones and Psalm 130. #ChristIsKing #Biblestr #GrowNostr

Fifth Sunday in Lent (Passion Sunday): A sealed tomb, dry bones, the long ache of unanswered prayer. The God who delayed for Lazarus, who spoke life into a graveyard, weeps at the grave — and still acts. The stone will not stay in place. #ChristIsKing #Lent #Biblestr

If you’re ever in #Asheville, NC, you must try Cúrate, a Spanish tapas restaurant. A favorite of ours for more than a decade. You don’t just thank God for food, and I’m not minimizing that, you praise God for the experience…a real blessing. You will need reservations weeks in advance. My photos don’t do it justice. #Foodstr #GrowNostr

GM Nostriches, Let us remember to start the day by orienting toward Jesus. He’s easy to forget if we jump right in to the to-do list. A lukewarm nod is not enough and its fruit unhealthy. #Biblestr #Christianity #Jesus image

Fourth Sunday in Lent: Seven sons passed over. A healed beggar thrown out. Both found by the one who sees what no one else sees. Jesus still walks into the forgotten places and asks: "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" This changes everything. #ChristIsKing #Biblestr #Lent

Third Sunday in Lent: She came to the well alone. At noon. When no one would see her. Jesus was already waiting, knowing every chapter, every failure, every empty jar. He sees the full ledger of our lives and still he offers. That is what makes his grace so astonishing. He crosses every boundary to find those of us who have quietly stopped believing anyone would come for us. The living water is not for people who have cleaned themselves up. It is for anyone who has been coming to the same well for years, still thirsty, quietly hoping that this time might be different. Come to the well of living water. #ChristIsKing #Biblestr #Lent

The apostles, once scared and hiding after the crucifixion, spread across the Roman world proclaiming the risen Christ after the resurrection. Most faced brutal deaths: crucifixion, beheading, stoning, spearing, burning. They had nothing earthly to gain, everything to lose. They claimed to be eyewitnesses of the resurrection. Liars don’t endure torture and martyrdom without recanting. Their unwavering conviction is hard to explain without genuine belief in what they saw. #biblestr #christianity #grownostr

We all are made for God. That infinite longing in our heart isn’t a glitch—it’s a homing signal pointing back to Him. Every time we’ve tried to quiet it with something created instead of the Creator, we’ve ended up emptier and more restless. That’s certainly my experience. Only when we stop running and turn to Christ does the ache start to find its answer—not in fleeting highs, but in a deep, steady peace that survives the storms. #Biblestr #Christianity #Grownostr image

Philippians 4:13 — ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’ — is probably the most misquoted verse in the Bible. Athletes tattoo it for victory, motivational speakers slap it on success memes, others for success in whatever they do. But read the context (Phil 4:11-13): Paul is saying he’s learned to be content in any circumstance. Abundance or hunger, plenty or need, because Christ gives him strength to endure it all. Not a promise of unlimited achievement. A declaration of supernatural contentment amid hardship. It is about enduring lows. #Biblestr #ChristIsKing #Memestr image
