introducing @hal - the ai agent for nostr
hal is designed to improve your nostr experience.
features:
- knows what's up on nostr
- can research information online
- provides latest news
- can see images and video
- can use DVMs
- remembers you
- soon: task scheduling ("hal, remind me to stay humble and stack sats on thursday")
- soon: bitcoin payments (you can zap hal already)
hal has access to the latest nostr data, with much more functionality coming soon.
nostr agents like hal are incredibly powerful because they can access vast amounts of free and open data. hal aims to be competitive and to know more than general purpose ai like grok.
work in progress.

why is every single nostr app bad at tagging other users?
nostr wizards, help me: is it possible that @primal confuses `root` event tags with `reply` tags? this is how I understand the NIP-10 spec:
event1: "root" post
event2: reply to event 1: tags event 1 as "root", and also as "reply"
event3: reply to event 2: tags event 1 as "root", and event 2 as "reply"
in primal, event3 tags event2 as "root" though. should a client decide which one of the intermediate events should be treated as "root"? or should event1 always be the root?
no lies detected

it's really impressive how @TollGate has evolved as a project.
