@walker I’m just finishing up the ATH livestream. I think “streamer” is a fine word & we should create a “Walker America Golden Streamer Award”. Also, my only kid is on another continent in her first year of college & I feel like my life is over. Definitely cherish all the time with family that you get because it goes by fast.

I’ve thought about joining the throngs of Bitcoin podcasters, but don’t want to dox myself & get wrench-attacked. And, I’m also not very persuasive anyway. It just occurred to me that maybe I should lean into that & larp as an anti-Bitcoiner so nobody will think I have any to steal while also being so anti-persuasive that I actually drive people to Bitcoin. 🤔

@ODELL how do you have Signal without a phone #? Isn’t that required for setup? If you used one for sign up & don’t maintain it doesn’t that open you up to it getting recycled & your account getting taken over?

Had a bill to pay with Bitcoin & was trying to just pay quickly so I chose WoS to pay not realizing that the invoice was for on-chain. Unfortunately, my eyes are slower than my fingers and right as I tapped the pay button I realized that it added about 50% as a fee. It’s no wonder we can’t get real adoption.

I've never been into seafood, but if I'm going to try oysters I guess this is not a bad place to try them.

I’ve decided to change from never spending/selling my Bitcoin to malicious compliance in doing so thanks to my new Revolut card dynamically sells when you use it. I know, I know, this is not pure. But, it does make it easier to do. I decided to illustrate the absurdity of the tax law by following it to a tee. I just realized a $0.01 capital gain buying a hot chocolate from a vending machine. I’ve created a Google Sheet to fill out with my purchases (aka Bitcoin sales) at the end of each day so tracking is fairly easy & when I file my taxes at the end of the year I’ll have hundreds of micro-transactions for them to look at if they wish.

Fountain seems kind of dead today. I could listen, but not mark played or delete. So I killed the app & now it won’t reload.
