Is Vitalik still a bitcoiner? Did he try Lightning?
Check this out @Ben Arc
Bitcoin: Year One
The comic book that will teach you Bitcoin history is coming!

I’ll probably interview Mike Hearn before I get Michael Saylor on 😆
And getting Mike Hearn on my podcast is super unlikely… though I e-mailed him twice and he replied, but he’s moved on to other things 🤷🏻♂️
After Vitalik, whom should I interview next?

The horror of learning how Bitcoin really works 🙈
After years of listening to influencers who served you shitty metaphors that made you believe a Raspberry Pi gives you control over the network and the miners don’t matter 🥲

Ethereum might just be the biggest Bitcoin sidechain
Vitalik Buterin: What kind of computer is required to run an Ethereum node?
My interview with Vitalik Buterin is now fully transcribed and timestamped.
See what he had to say about the Lighting network and what kind of hardware it takes to run an Ethereum node:

S16 E24: Vitalik Buterin on the Future of Bitcoin & Ethereum
Vitalik Buterin is the creator of Ethereum, but also one of the biggest Bitcoin maximalists... as well as the writer who came up with the term ”m...

Will interview Vitalik tomorrow
What should I ask him?

About 4 years ago, Chris DeRose joined my podcast and said something I think about a lot lately
When referring to moonbois like Saylor & suitcoiners who only care about making the number go up, he said:
“They’re paying us to leave”
“Us” as in revolutionaries, hopium kool aid sippers & libertarians/agorists
It’s this episode, around 03:24:30
Bitcoin is destined to replace fiat money.
The whitepaper is clear, Satoshi’s writings (especially his answers to criticism on the Metzdowd cryptography mailing list) are even clearer.
The whole “store of value” meme might make early adopters rich, but it neuters the invention of its true potential.
I wish Hal never posted this.

In S16 E19 of the Bitcoin Takeover podcast, Daniel Krawisz argues that SegWit was pushed on Bitcoin to help @Ross Ulbricht get more deniability by dissociating signatures from transactions.
Daniel also believes that Silk Road was a bad business, as BTC wasn’t a good choice for economic activity which requires privacy.
Just onboarded my 16 year old cousin to Bitcoin
He says he wants to put all his savings in BTC, then buy a car when he turns 18
If you want to welcome him with $1 or whatever you can spare, this is his address:

One of the funniest Bitcoin Takeover podcast moments, that I sometimes think about:
Charlie Shrem praises Bitcoin Cash and Amaury Sechet as a lead developer…
Only to find out that he moved on and started working on XEC
It felt bittersweet to disappoint Charlie on livestream 😂
I’d rather be a shitcoiner than a suitcoiner
