Buying bitcoin on borrowed money just means you couldn’t afford it in the first place. I’m glad there are ways to ferret out the excesses built in to bitcoin price due to overuse of leverage. It makes my career more valuable to have cheap sats I can still buy.

I remember someone joking about being a billionaire — a satoshi billionaire… Back then, this did not make one rich at all…it couldn’t even make one a new car owner. To fix the bitcoin utxo set, we need tiered storage. ProVably unspendable outputs are pruned, which makes sense, but proBably unspendable outputs stay stored in RAM. This is dumb. We should write these to disk and only pull from disk when part of a block or upon spending tx notification. Yes, it takes longer to eval block/tx, but by definition this should a rare event. What is wrong with my thinking?
