I can’t understand how some adult men desire to have sex with children. What roads end at such results? Because I can’t understand it, I have a hard time believing it’s common.

When we bitcoiners create the second iteration of the United States, or our children do, we must remember 4 things: 1) taxes should be highest at local level and lowest at federal level. Taxes should be highest to the politicians most responsive to local electorate. Costs of moving to nearest city much cheaper than moving countries; governments must compete for citizens and taxes and we need market power to reject taxes with our feet. 2) it’s not life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness…it should have been life, liberty, and property. 3) all governments are forbidden from confiscation without compensation and may not use ex post facto declarations of illegality to confiscate under criminal proceedings. Think of it like a statute of limitations applied to government: if they declare my rifle today to have never been legal, they can take it from me without compensation…this is a tactic our federal government uses to take things from citizens. 4) shall not be infringed means shall not be infringed. It is a fundamental human right to keep and bear any bearable arm that _can_ be used with selectivity in time and space (eg, you can’t have a nuclear weapon nor a small grenade that goes off at random…you’ve got to be able to use and practice with the arms without acutely harming others).

It is possible that the US government is simultaneously the best government on earth and evil. Why can’t everyone see this?

If you are old, about half way done, like me, you might remember the Challenger shuttle explosion. It was broadcast live on plain old television service and they wheeled in a TV for us to watch in my kindergarten classroom, presumably due to the “teacher in space program.” Needless to say, the launch didn’t go as planned and our teacher abruptly shut off the TV. At 5 years old, I didn’t know what I was looking at…I had seen videos of other shuttle launches and knew the vehicle sort of intentionally fell apart when certain tanks were out of fuel so it wasn’t clear to me that at the time that what happened to challenger wasn’t planned. Anyhow, a lot of words were spoken to our class but nothing I can remember was said other than our parents would talk to us when we got home. I vaguely recall a serious talk with my parents about the shuttle exploding and me being asked if I understood what they were saying. I totally understood what they said. But what they didn’t say I had no fucking clue about. Call me stupid, I didn’t realize there were people aboard the rocket. I mean, strapping your ass to a bomb doesn’t sound plausible, right? It didn’t really click with me that the failure of the shuttle to get to space meant that people died. A specific number of people. With names. Identities. Families. But I knew the launch ended in an explosion and the rocket didn’t make it to space. Mission failure. Try again next time. Sometimes we can be too quick to assume what another person understands.

The USA is $37T in debt. It would be really convenient if the USA could reverse the flow of money so that the world sends us money instead of us sending them money. You know, like 1939-1945? Now what could happen to reverse money flow? Is there any other way other than world war? If the rest of the world started fighting each other again, allowing us to sell weapons to both sides, we could reverse the flow of money like WW2. Maybe that’s the plan. Maybe they can’t see there is a better way than the endless cycle of debt and war. Bitcoin won’t fix this yet. It’s still too small. But if we can avoid war for the next 20 years, I really do think bitcoin will fix this.
