Enjoying my afternoon cuppa ginger chamomile tea, while I contemplate the state of the world. Today, I made an Iranian friend. I think given that our countries are at war and mine started it, I did well navigating the conversation. Though, I was on the verge of tears once with the pain I sensed--she hasn't heard from her family in four weeks. We have plans to meet on Monday to practice Dutch together. We both agreed that while the rich fight for resources, the citizens are the ones who always foot the bill, including with their lives. It is truly disgusting. Keep building. Keep creating joy.
