My thesis for counterparty/ordinals/stamps continues to be they will never provide a service/function that is large enough to detract from the monetary nature of bitcoin, will remain niche for weirdo art/history collectors only (and probably only as static NFTS, eg not truly usable in-game items or anything like that), and will undoubtedly trend to zero against bitcoin itself.

Disclaimer I am obviously not privy to 100% of the evidence and facts here but this is what things are starting to look like to me.
Do I think the gov is always on the right side of history? Of course not.
But really at a minimum the America I believed in would’ve had rival enforcement wings (FBI, CIA, fed, state and local police and military) come together to bust the zorro ranch and Epstein island doors down, guns blazing in front of a backpack full of teddy bears, getting the grim work done flawlessly to save those kids.
Instead they protected the pedophiles for decades and watched countless children get abused, tortured, murdered and eaten.
They didn’t even bother to come up with some kind of national security rationale. They just made sure the crimes had a secure place to occur and whined when called out because hey, stocks are high.
How the fuck does public trust come back from this? I really don’t think it does.
