Gold is probably good enough storage to use while the global fiat casino resets in the next 1-10 years, it is rational to doubt there will be a breakthrough in gold extraction/inflation in the short term and to follow what the central banks are doing— the boomer led market might be justified to avoid 16 year old videogame money as the go to.
