when it comes to magic the gathering i like long games with many short turns, not short games with very few long turns, which is what this game seems to have turned into in the last 20 years

A lot if not all of the metaverse projects are scams but if I was building one out I’d revamp decentraland to expand with bitcoin nft plots. And any plots without weekly activity/traffic get “hidden” in a dynamic map so that it doesn’t feel so empty all the time. The more active you are on the plot the more you can claim your position close to the center of the board (of course not trivial to get rid of bot activity but possible).

The most significant 10k pfp collection is cryptopunks because it was first and set a standard across all chains since. Every collection after it, even if based on original art, is a derivative. IMHO, bitcoin punks, which is plainly a derivative/copy pasta could be the only other significant 10k pfp as it can at least claim to be the first on bitcoin. If ordinals do get pruned in the future, then it will be Stampunks, which came after bitcoin punks but were still first on the stamps/counterparty protocol. I guess my point is the art, when it comes to a pfp collection, doesn't really matter when discussing firsts.
