If you're writing Nostr code, this is a great podcast to both listen to and participate with. You never know when someone is building something that can integrate with or improve your project and you never know when your project is just what someone needed to find out about to unlock the next step. Something to keep in mind, different scales necessitate different tools for gaining the most utility out of bitcoin. With a low enough time preference, any way anyone wants to use their Bitcoin will be available (without forks), the problem needs to exist with a high enough yield to put the energy into fixing it. Even though the hosts are AI generated, thf information is valuable enough to put up with it. Trees are the pinnacle of nature's wisdom as far as plants go in my opinion. They are very underutilized in many of our food production systems. View quoted note →

Lots of discussions lately about Amish, I think they are the most well recognized parallel society in the USA. I think to integrate with that society (orange pill them) the Bitcoin culture must have observable overlap with their culture. To accomplish that would show the power of cultural capital. (I've had culture on the mind for the last several months) View quoted note →

Building culture builds adoption. If Bitcoin is to be used as money a culture must be built first. Right now, Bitcoin is being shoe horned into existing cultures, it's no surprise it's not more accepted.
