Perennials are waking up in the food forest. It won't be long before there's food growing everywhere with new yields ripening all throughout the year. The chicken compost system is waking up and starting to build momentum. I've started to slowly work the leftover compost into one large pile. With each forkfull more and more worms are exposed.

The chickens and ducks are back up to their full egg production as well. The cost of feed will go down and the quality of the eggs will go up as I transition away from feeding grain to feeding compost.

The system produces all the eggs and compost we need plus enough extra to sell to more than make up for the input costs of grain feed. Selling the eggs and compost at Bitcoin meetups generates sats flow too. #permaculture #permies #homesteading #grownostr #chicken #compost
