Very interesting that the Christians and the libertarians arrive at very similar conclusions…
Most are completely unprepared for America’s shift back to manufacturing.
Don’t tell your kids to take on $250,000 of debt for a finance degree. Tell them to avoid debt, learn a trade, and eventually start their own business.
A brief visit to Normieland reminds you how far ahead we really are
The truth is that we’re all hypocrites. We all know that lying is bad but we’ve all done it. We all know that integrity is the way but we don’t always act that way.
I’m certainly not the Christianity expert, but my understanding of it is that what makes Christianity unique is that you can always repent and start fresh, as long as you do so genuinely and work to improve yourself.
Get out of the city.
There will always be wealth inequality. The question is just whether that wealth inequality is earned on the basis of providing value to others (the free market, which Bitcoin aligns with) or on the basis of printing money (the fiat economy, which the dollar aligns with).
The Bitcoin economy rewards those who serve humanity. The fiat economy rewards those who manipulate money at the expense of humanity.
Anyone have a good documentary/book on the Amish?
True Prices Measured in Gold
The prices of basically everything (except bitcoin) have either been flat or have fallen against gold over the last few decades.
The “rising prices” that your Facebook friends complain about are an illusion. It just depends on what unit you’re denominating in.
We get to choose our reality. Want your life to be harder and harder to afford? Hold fiat. Want your life to be easier and easier to afford? Hold BTC.
Biggest lesson of the last half decade for me is that the “experts” don’t know shit, so you might as well think for yourself and draw your own conclusions.
Will I be wrong sometimes? Of course. But I’d rather be wrong because I trusted my own intuition that someone else’s.
The goal is not more bitcoin, it’s more freedom.
If something provides you more freedom than the bitcoin you spend on it, it was worth it.
BTC is hitting all time highs and nostr doesn’t give a damn. I love it.
Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed.

There is a close connection between truth and nonviolence.
Truth-claims compete exclusively in the realm of argumentation. It would be a performative contradiction for someone to claim otherwise - their actions (engaging in argumentation) would be at odds with their claim (that truth-claims can exist outside the realm of argumentation). Therefore, it can be accepted as an axiom that truth-claims cannot exist outside the realm of argumentation.
Therefore, when someone opts to employ violence or coercion, they are opting to not participate in the process of truth-finding. This person can then be promptly dismissed.
When the aggressor speaks, you can rest assured that it’s nonsense.
Are you still using fiat air conditioning?
