Ordinalhub (Luxor Mining) is doing badges in their discord and inscribing them as ordinals lolol.

I think we're being rather naive with nostr sometimes. Once users have thousands of follows, what is a good way for them to get through their feed, without something trying to pick and choose what is their favorites? Or at least without something choosing and highlighting their most engaged topics/ accounts? Just chronological scrolling will take forever to get through everything, and most users really only want to see a group of repeating friends/accounts. I guess if its open source it is about a billion times better.

The point of a badge is to be special or have some rarity. Or to be non fungible 🤣🤣. Even if it is used in a legit way for reputation, contribution, etc it still makes more sense to have it be immutable. And they dont have to be traded.

Because of ordinals we are getting some of the biggest shitcoin NFT creators to learn and use lightning cause their auction is going to suck on chain. And at the same time we are also getting this.
