I am a Compulsive Gambler and former professional poker player online since I lost all my teeth to bad mental health. Gamble free since 2017. A few months later found bitcoin, then I purchased some satoshi in 2018. Did a 180, got rid of everthing from the gambling days. Now using linux, skincare, niche fragrances, wet shaving, better fitting clothes, carnivore, metal genre \m/ and running. Bitcoin saved my life and I'm Bitcoin only.
End of the first week of my two week winter sun holiday.
This resort has alcohol, fancy a tipple.
Got a 100 tab agreed, but that's for one meal.
Haven't had any booze on this trip.
Going to break into that now.

Nice little touch.
Just sitting patiently at the beach side restaurant, dark, but candle lit.
Forgot about me.
Was looking at menu on phone.
15 minutes later, proper menu to look at.
Ordered.
5 minutes later, free mocktail.
I'll take it.
2 nights here, expensive, but prepared.
Fancy a glass of shampers tomorrow evening.
Moved onto Jumeriah Muscat Bay beach front resort.
So many things to do.
I'm just here to chill, before Dubai in two days

Another day, another day trip exploring Oman.

Thought I'd try Omani tee.
Hmm, spicy and nice
Just back from a day trip just outside of Muscat.
The popular tourist spot.
Kept my mind open for what to expect.
Blown away, visited the Wadi Shab.
Showing off the natural beauty of Oman.
A sight to behold.
A hike that got progressively harder. Into a swim in a gouge.
Into a cave the swim went.
Quite busy.
One of the positive life experiences I've received.
Then onto the sinkhole.
What a day, well worth it.
Interesting about the food here in Muscat.
Two dishes no cutlery.
Two dishes only spoon + fork.
A few dishes, they put huge sheet covering table.
I guess culture is to eat with hands.
Or on the floor.
Of course, very tricky for me, with no teeth.
Didn't want to offend, so proceeded as normal.
I've tasted so many different cuisines from different countries.
Spoke to a few Omani locals. They said around 7M people in Oman, but only 3M local Omani.
Tasted dishes from;
Omani, Indian, Pakistani, Turkish, Afgan, Lebanese.
Running out of days to taste a bit of every cuisine.
What an evening journey.
Went to ATM didn't work with backup card.
Walked and walked, found second ATM and it worked.
75 minutes that took.
Nice cooler evening breeze.

Just typical.
Found out lost my pre paid debit card.
Its a metal card, falls out of my RFID wallet easily.
Probably wasn't paying attention enough on holiday.
Least app works to freeze the card.
Money safe, and transferred to back up pre paid card
Tucking into Omani sweets.
This is vanilla flavoured nougat style sweet.
However a little powdery mixture.
So eat with a spoon.
Lovely.
That was an incredible person.
Just had dinner at Turkish restaurant.
Got up to pay, and vendor said, guy in front of you already paid for it.
Such a nice gesture, that I was unaware of.
Ran outside to thank that person, but probably a random person.
Forgot my phone on the table, ran back for it.
Oman so pleasant
Just had a misstep with the taxi payment.
Started the taxi. Then added on card payment, only accepted cash.
Had not enough on me.
Taxi driver drove around for a while, looking for ATM.
Then we drove back, got atm.
And gave driver a little extra for the hassle
